Caroline Baker is a commercial, solutions-focused lawyer who has particular experience in the financial services sector.

Caroline advises a wide range of clients on all aspects of employment law, from board level exits and complicated restructures to managing employment tribunal litigation.

She has particular experience advising financial services sector employers and dealing with associated remuneration structures and regulatory issues.

Caroline is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and its Pro Bono Committee. She was part of a small team from the ELA Pro Bono Committee which developed the award winning ELIPS scheme at the London Central Employment Tribunal to support litigants in person.

Before joining GQ|Littler in October 2011, Caroline worked at ‘Magic Circle’ law firm Slaughter and May, during which time she spent six months on secondment to French firm Bredin Prat. In 2015, she spent three months on secondment at Citibank in its Employee Relations team.
