On March 8, 2013, US Citizenship & Immigration Services released a new Form I-9 which must be used by all employers by May 7, 2013 for new hires, reverification of existing employees or rehires.

This webinar will:

  • Review and assess the changes to the new I-9 Form
  • Address recommended good business practices for companies to increase their I-9 compliance levels
  • Discuss lessons learned from recent settlements and case law on I-9 enforcement actions
  • Touch on proposed changes to E-Verify and the possible phase out of the Form I-9
