Littler Mendelson Builds South Florida Presence with Three New Attorneys

San Francisco, CA/ March 12,2008 -- Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the nation's largest employment and labor law firm, is pleased to announce the addition of three attorneys to its Miami, FL office. Their arrival brings the total number of Littler's South Florida lawyers to sixteen, and continues a course of rapid growth for the office during its first five years of operation.

Littler's new Miami attorneys include shareholder, Pat DeBlasio, and associates Delores Francis and Jason Schatz. All are highly skilled employment law practitioners who will further enhance the firm's south Florida service capabilities. Coinciding with a recently opened office in Orlando, FL, the addition of these professionals to the Miami office demonstrates a clear commitment to providing innovative solutions to legal challenges in the workplace and the highest level of client service to Florida employers statewide.

Pat DeBlasio joins Littler from the Miami office of Jackson Lewis. Mr. DeBlasio is an 1988 graduate of University of Miami School of Law, cum laude, and is a seasoned employment trial lawyer with special expertise in FLSA matters. He is a member of the state bars of Florida, California, and North Carolina and is recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America as well as by Chambers U.S.A.: America's Leading Lawyers.

Littler also welcomes Delores Francis from the Miami office of Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, where she worked as an associate in the Labor and Employment department. Ms. Francis graduated from Harvard Law School in 2005, magna cum laude, and was Phi Beta Kappa at Florida International University where she attained her B.A. in 2002.

Jason Schatz comes to Littler from Proskauer Rose in New Jersey and is currently in the process of joining the Florida bar. Mr. Schatz is a 2005 graduate of Rutgers School of Law and completed his undergraduate work at Cornell's School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
