Court Finds PetSmart Avoids Title VII Liability For Worker's Same-Sex Harassment Claim

This article discusses Harris v. PetSmart Inc., in which the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky found that PetSmart is not liable under Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act for a male employee's alleged same-sex harassment of a dog trainer because the company established reasonable steps to prevent harassment and promptly took corrective action once the trainer complained.
