While our nation's unemployment may be steadily declining, there are predictions that contractors, project-based labor and freelancers may soon account for more than 40 percent of the world's total workforce. Please join us as we discuss current trends surrounding contingent workforce and joint employment issues, including the latest from the Department of Labor and National Labor Relations Board. Government agencies and private litigants alike are becoming actively engaged in trying to broaden the scope of who qualifies as an employer. We will help you pinpoint ways to identify these issues and protect against the consequences of finding that you are, in fact, an employer of someone who you did not know you employed.
