Concerns about sexual misconduct in the workplace have grown more acute following the recent wave of sexual harassment scandals, and you don’t need to be a cable news network, a Hollywood production company, a media mogul or a politician to feel the ripple effect from the upsurge of workplace sexual harassment claims. Employers, HR professionals and in-house counsel must be proactive in creating a harassment-free workplace and knowledgeable about what to do when sexual harassment claims are made as the topic continues to take center stage.

In this session, we will cover:

  • Legal recommendations for managing and preventing harassment in an organization
  • The choices HR has if it notices or learns of a #MeToo posting by an employee
  • Best practices for handling a sexual harassment investigation
  • New legislative and other government initiatives being undertaken to address harassment in the workplace
