This program will briefly review recent and pending New York State and New York City employment law developments, including:

  • Private lawsuits and liquidated damages for “manual workers" not paid weekly
  • Pay Equity expansion
  • The new SHIELD law regarding data breaches
  • Expanded workplace discrimination/harassment protection
  • Gender identity & expression; hairstyle and grooming; immigration status; independent contractors and freelancers
  • ADA & website accessibility
  • Property liens for wage claims

Individuals may register for one of the two sessions. We ask that you kindly try to limit the number of attendees from your organization to no more than three.
