Because this is an ever-changing area of law, employers need to develop a clear grasp of their responsibilities and expectations regarding transitioning transgender employees, as well as other staff. This Breakfast Briefing will facilitate a wide ranging discussion of these issues. Topics include:

  • A review of sexual orientation and transgender terminology
  • An overview of gender discrimination laws, as well as sexual stereotyping and transgender cases
  • A discussion of how the legal landscape impacts workplace policy
  • Best practices for employers on how to prepare for on-the-job transitions and enhance an inclusive, respectful culture in the workplace
