Benefits under the Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) became available on January 1, 2021. At this final session of our four part PFML series, we will provide some lessons learned from the first two months in a quick 30 minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A.
Session 4 will address the following topics:
- Employee claim filing process
- Addressing incomplete PFML applications
- Integrating PFML benefits with FMLA and existing employer benefits
- The nuances in operating a private PFML plan
We will also highlight new guidance released by the Department of Paid Family and Medical Leave and take questions regarding the PFML.
