Concerns about sexual misconduct in the workplace have grown more acute following the recent wave of sexual harassment scandals, and you don’t need to be a cable news network, a Hollywood production company, a media mogul or a politician to feel the ripple effect from the upsurge of workplace sexual harassment claims. Employers, HR professionals and in-house counsel must be proactive in creating a harassment-free workplace and knowledgeable about what to do when sexual harassment claims are made, as the topic continues to take center stage.

In this session, we will cover:

  • Effective sexual harassment prevention training strategies in this new era
  • The choices HR has if it notices or learns of a #MeToo posting by an employee
  • Practical considerations for handling sexual harassment investigations in today’s climate, including resisting the temptation of over-correcting
  • Leadership guidelines to support the emerging culture shift

Registration and Breakfast: 8:00 - 8:30 am

Program: 8:30 - 10:00 am
