Earlier this year, the U.S. Department of Labor published its long-awaited Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) on the "white collar" overtime exemptions. If adopted, these new regulations under the Fair Labor Standards Act will, among other things, raise the salary threshold to qualify as overtime exempt from $23,660 to $35,308. And while the period for public comments on the NPRM is now closed, Secretary Acosta's unexpected resignation raises new questions over the fate of the NPRM. In this webinar, ComplianceHR VP & Former Wage and Hour Administrator Tammy McCutchen will discuss:

  • The New Rule: What's the deal?
  • The impact of Secretary Acosta's departure
  • What the NPRM means for Employers?
  • Practical tips on how Employers should prepare for change
  • Leveraging technology for compliance success
