This ethics credit program will examine the most challenging issues surrounding the application of the attorney-client and work-product privileges in the context of internal workplace interactions and investigations. The presentation will discuss best practices and identify issues related to workplace investigations maintaining the attorney-client and work-product privileges. Examples will include:

  • Wage-hour and other systemic audits
  • Investigations of employee misconduct
  • Joint representation
  • Audit letter responses
  • Due diligence disclosures

Continuing Education
