Employers have become familiar with the challenges associated with independent contractor arrangements. The same issues frequently arise globally, in most regions and many countries, with challenges created by the need of more efficient and cost-reduced workforce arrangements.
Our presenters will discuss the latest legal developments in the outsourcing arena in Brazil and selected jurisdictions in Central and South America including: independent contractor arrangements, temporary workers, liabilities and restrictions when hiring outsourcing services, among others, and will provide guidance on developing a “best practices” approach to structuring contractor arrangements in these jurisdictions.
