Dealing with workplace violence and threats is a reality for employers – one which has escalated from only a decade ago. During this informative program, we will cover the OSHA regulations that employers need to know in order to minimize the risk of workplace violence. We will discuss strategies employers can follow to address common workplace issues that may challenge an employer’s ability to provide a safe workplace.

We will also provide an overview of Texas handgun laws including the recently enacted “open carry” law and the soon to be enacted “campus carry” law. This discussion will provide employers with a practical perspective on the complex scenarios that may arise and how to avoid the hidden pitfalls to ensure companies are compliant.
