The Littler Puerto Rico Conference, in its sixth consecutive year, will once again address the latest updates in human resources issues and labor and employment law, providing practical solutions for real-life situations and current challenges facing Puerto Rico employers. Through presentations and interactive discussions our panelists will cover the following topics:

  • You can’t change what you can’t see: Implicit bias and how it can impact the workplace
  • Religion and freedom of speech in the workplace: Case studies on employers’ ability to limit employees’ communication in the workplace
  • Accommodation or no accommodation: A fresh perspective on laws and scenarios dealing with "reasonable accommodations" in the workplace
  • Gender identity: Navigating gender identity and transgender issues in the workplace
  • The 2019 PR labor and employment law update: Our signature review of new laws, court decisions, and regulatory changes impacting Puerto Rico employers
