Littler's Robert Millman Named Among Top 100 California Lawyers by Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journals

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 30, 2010) – Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the nation's largest employment and labor law firm representing management, is pleased to announce that Robert Millman, the firm's chairman of the Board and founding shareholder of its Los Angeles office, has been recognized by the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journals as one of the "Top 100 Lawyers in California."

The prestigious list, compiled by California's largest legal news provider, includes California-based attorneys whose achievements have made a significant impact on the legal profession.

"We are tremendously proud that Bob has again been recognized for his exemplary work," said Robert S. Blumberg, office managing shareholder of the Los Angeles office. "This honor truly underscores his value to our clients, the firm, and to the legal profession as a whole."

Millman joined Littler as its 18th lawyer, and has since played an active role in the firm's growth and development. The firm now has over 750 attorneys across the United States.

For almost four decades, Millman has represented employers in representation proceedings and unfair labor practices before the National Labor Relations Board, employment discrimination and wrongful termination litigation, and in developing employment law problem prevention policies.

A frequent speaker throughout the country on labor and employment law topics, Millman appears regularly on radio and television. He has had numerous articles and interviews printed in the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, and Los Angeles Business Journal, among others.

Millman was previously included in the Daily Journal's 2010 list of Top Labor and Employment Attorneys and its 2009 lists of Top 100 Attorneys and Top Labor and Employment Attorneys. He has been honored by the National Law Journal as one of the top 25 management employment attorneys in the United States, and was named to the Who's Who in Law list published by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Millman received his J.D. from Cornell Law and B.A. from the University of Wisconsin. He is admitted to practice in the California and D.C. bars.
