Rob Friedman is the Managing Shareholder of the firm’s Dallas and Fayetteville offices. He is board certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

For more than 20 years, Rob has advised and represented employers in virtually every aspect of the employee-employer relationship. He routinely defends businesses in state and federal courts and in arbitration proceedings around the country. Rob’s practice also includes significant experience representing businesses in wage and hour class and collective action litigation under the Fair Labor Standards Act and state law. 

Rob is also the founding co-chair of Littler’s national Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice group, and is one of the leading nationwide authorities on drafting and enforcing arbitration agreements. He has successfully argued arbitration enforcement issues before state and U.S. Courts of Appeals, state Supreme Courts, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Rob has authored and co-authored numerous articles, chapters and publications regarding arbitration, wage and hour matters, class action defense, and the WARN Act. In addition, he is a frequent presenter at legal functions sponsored by sections of the American Bar Association, business groups, and Littler Mendelson. He is frequently quoted by leading legal news publications.
