Urvashi Morolia is a trial lawyer who guides her clients through the legal process with a hands-on, practical approach. She advises and represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment issues involving disputes brought under state and federal law, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Urvi is also a Certified Mediator.

Urvi has significant trial experience in Texas state courts, including first-chairing 14 jury trials, taking and defending depositions, and drafting and arguing successful traditional and no-evidence motions for summary judgment and Rule 91A dismissals.

Prior to joining Littler, Urvi worked for a regional law firm, focusing on defending individuals and companies in a wide range of civil litigation matters in various jurisdictions.

Urvi participated in her law school’s nationally recognized advocacy program as a varsity advocate, competing in several national mock trial competitions across the country. She also represented South Texas College of Law in an international alternate dispute resolution competition. Urvi served on the editorial board of the South Texas Law Review, as a tutor of Constitutional Law as a Langdell Scholar, and was a member of the Student Bar Association.

Prior to moving to Houston, Urvi worked with a boutique litigation firm in Mumbai, India after receiving her Bachelors of Law. Her practice included commercial litigation and cyber law. She routinely advised U.S. based clients looking to develop and expand their business in India. Urvi has second-chaired arbitration cases before Retired Supreme Court Justices of India.
