Littler Mendelson Welcomes David K. Haase to its Chicago Office

Chicago, IL / October 15, 2007 -- Littler Mendelson, the nation's largest labor and employment law firm, continues its growth with the addition of its newest Shareholder, David K. Haase, to Littler's Chicago office. Mr. Haase comes to Littler from Jenner and Block, where he co-chaired the labor and employment practice. Mr. Haase has significant experience in all aspects of employment and labor law, and focuses his practice on class action avoidance and defense, ERISA litigation, non-competition agreements and trade secrets, and other employment-related litigation.

Active in the legal community, Mr. Haase is a member of the American Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section where he is a member of the Employee Rights and Responsibilities Committee. He is also a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the Illinois State Bar Association. Mr. Haase has published and presented on a wide range of labor and employment topics.

Mr. Haase earned his B.A. from Carleton College in 1985, where he graduated summa cum laude, and his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1988, where he graduated cum laude. He is admitted to practice in Illinois. Mr. Haase also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Charles R. Norgle, Sr. in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
