In this labor-focused breakfast briefing, we will bring you up to date regarding the NLRB's recent spate of blockbuster decisions that departed from long-standing precedent and provide tips for both non-union and union employers to respond to the changes. We will also address the sea of changes in the law being sought by NLRB General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo. Topics will include:

  • New rule that will result in a requirement that employers recognize a union without a secret-ballot election
  • Expansion of the definition of “protected concerted activity" to include actions by a single employee
  • Resumption of the NLRB's war on personnel policies
  • Proposed regulation to change definition of “joint employer”
  • Other sea of changes in the law being sought by General Counsel Abruzzo
