- An insurance carrier in an age discrimination and retaliation lawsuit filed by a former employee
- An automotive group in a sex discrimination and assault lawsuit filed by a former employee
- A private equity group in a wrongful termination lawsuit alleging race and national origin discrimination, as well as associated tort claims
- A school district in a lawsuit alleging statutory and constitutional claims
She also has prevailed in obtaining summary judgments for:
- A financial services company in an age discrimination lawsuit filed by a former employee
- An insurance carrier in a former employee's lawsuit asserting race/national origin discrimination and Family Medical and Leave Act violations
- A school district in a whistleblower lawsuit filed by a former employee
- An individually sued manager on tort claims asserted by a former employee
- A restaurant chain in a pregnancy discrimination and retaliation lawsuit filed by a current employee
Additionally, she has obtained favorable results in single-plaintiff and collective claims involving:
- Wage and hour violations
- Workplace safety violations
- Sexual harassment and assault
- Wrongful termination alleging age discrimination and Family and Medical Leave Act violations
- Wrongful discharge alleging disability discrimination and retaliation
- Wrongful discharge/breach of contract

- Unfair competition asserting claims of breach of contract and fiduciary duty, conversion, and tortious interference
Sherry also routinely advises and consults with clients about human resource policies and procedures. She has conducted sensitive, internal investigations of discrimination, harassment and retaliation complaints, and she provides management training on various employment-related topics.
Sherry is board certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She serves as the Dallas office liaison for Littler Mendelson's Women's Leadership Initiative and is the business development team leader for the Dallas office.
