Overview

Jackson Zimmerman advises and represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including single plaintiff claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to provide reasonable accommodation, failure to engage in the interactive process, and wrongful discharge. He also defends employers in complex wage and hour class and representative actions in both state and federal court.

He has experience defending corporate clients, insurance carriers, and policyholders against various claims, including automobile liability, premises liability, products liability, and bad faith. Jackson has engaged in extensive law and motion practice, handled all aspects of discovery – propounding and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, interviewing witnesses – and resolved cases by way of informal settlement discussions and mediation.

During law school, Jackson served as lead articles editor for the Pepperdine Law Review.
