On June 8, 2023, the Mexican Official Standard 037 on health and safety conditions in telework (NOM-037-STPS-2023) was published in the Federal Official Gazette, establishing new obligations for employers of individuals working remotely more than 40% of their work shift through technology. The purpose of the Standard is to guarantee employees’ physical and psychosocial health while working remotely.
