The public discussion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) issues once was taboo. However, mainstream media now address these topics on nearly a daily basis. Similarly, the open inclusion of LGBT individuals in the workplace is now common in many businesses across the U.S.: employees are more open about their sexual orientation and gender identity, and co-workers increasingly are more supportive of inclusive workplaces.

Despite these changes, challenges remain. Some employers have not addressed LGBT inclusion in their workplaces, resulting in some employees feeling they must hide their identities to avoid discrimination or harassment. This webinar will provide employers with guidelines on making their workplaces more inclusive for LGBT employees. The webinar will cover policy and best practices recommendations to ensure that all employees, regardless of their sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression, feel they are working in a safe, respectful and inclusive environment.
