Panoramica

Sean Dawson counsels and represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters before federal and state courts, administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and other state and local agencies. He has defended employers in matters involving, among other things:

  • Discrimination, harassment and retaliation litigation
  • Wage and hour issues
  • Noncompete and other restrictive covenant disputes

Sean also regularly provides advice and counseling to clients, including reviewing and drafting employee handbooks and personnel policies, providing advice on discipline and termination, and conducting workplace investigations.

Before joining Littler, Sean was an associate at a national labor and employment law firm. In law school, Sean served as senior topics editor and managing editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review. He also worked as a teaching assistant for a Legal Analysis and Writing professor and served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Nora Barry Fischer of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Hon. Kevin Sasinoski of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.
