Littler’s Linda Jackson Selected as a Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation

MCLEAN, VA (January 8, 2014) – Linda Jackson, a shareholder who practices in the Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. offices of Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has been named a Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation. The honor is bestowed on Virginia lawyers of integrity and character who have demonstrated excellence in their professions and communities.

Selected on the recommendation of the Foundation’s Fellows Committee and the unanimous vote of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, Jackson, along with 27 other attorneys comprising the 2014 Class of Fellows, will be honored at an induction ceremony on January 23, 2014 at the Williamsburg Lodge Convention Center in Williamsburg, VA.

The Fellows program is an important extension of the mission of the Foundation, and the community service performed by individual Fellows advances the public service goals of the Foundation. Created to encourage and recognize outstanding contributions by lawyers in the practice of law and public service, the Fellows organization is governed by a Fellows Committee appointed by the Foundation’s Board of Directors. The current Fellows membership totals 414.

At Littler, Jackson is a first-chair trial attorney with significant experience in the Eastern District of Virginia and the state trial courts in Northern Virginia. She focuses on business competition matters, including non-compete and trade secret litigation, as well as executive agreement, whistleblower, retaliation and discrimination matters. In addition to the Virginia Law Foundation, Jackson is active in a number of professional organizations, including the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia, the Virginia State Bar, the Fairfax Bar Association, the Virginia Women Attorney’s Association and the American Bar Foundation. She has been recognized for her work by a number of publications and organizations such as Chambers USA, Martindale-Hubbell®, Super Lawyers and the Washingtonian.
