Littler Mendelson Welcomes Experienced Litigator Scott Preston to Its Indianapolis Office

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (October 11, 2010) – Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the nation's largest employment and labor law firm representing management, announced today the addition of Scott Preston, an attorney with significant litigation experience, to the firm. Preston will be a shareholder in Littler's Indianapolis, IN office.

Preston advises management on labor and employment matters, and devotes much of his time to assisting clients with complex civil litigation and appeals. He provides strategic advice, counseling and employment litigation services to clients nationwide.

Preston comes to Littler from Ice Miller LLP in Indianapolis. Previously, Preston practiced law with Chadbourne & Parke LLP in Los Angeles, where he litigated an array of highly complex commercial disputes in state and federal court.

Preston has spoken extensively on a variety of employment law topics, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act compliance and developments, and electronic discovery. Additionally, he has authored a number of publications, most recently An Overview of Removal Jurisprudence in Multi-Party Diversity Cases, and Fair Game: Why De-Designated Experts are Potentially Available to the Other Side. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and Seventh Circuit Bar Association.

Preston is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska and received his J.D. from Creighton University and B.S. from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He is admitted to practice in California and Indiana.
