Albuquerque, NM (September 2, 2011) – Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the nation’s largest employment and labor law firm representing management, has added Charlotte Lamont as of counsel to its roster. Lamont will continue her practice focusing on traditional employment and labor law in Littler’s Albuquerque office, and will also be associated with the firm’s Phoenix office.
“We are excited to welcome Charlotte to our Albuquerque office,” said Mark Ogden, office managing shareholder of Littler’s Albuquerque and Phoenix offices. “Her experience will greatly enhance our practice in the Southwest, and her arrival continues the ongoing expansion of this office since its opening just two years ago.”
Lamont has represented employers in New Mexico for the past 23 years in a wide variety of matters, including claims of discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful discharge, as well as other employment-related matters. Her clients span a number of different industries, from manufacturing, banking, and retail, to professional services, healthcare, and gaming. She is a New Mexico Board Certified Specialist in Employment Labor and Law.
A graduate of Leadership Albuquerque, Lamont is a frequent volunteer within her community and has donated her time to the Active 20/30 Club of Albuquerque for the past 16 years. In this capacity, she coordinates the equestrian piece of the organization’s annual fall Equestrian Cup, a benefit for the All Faith’s receiving home and other children’s charities.
Lamont received her J.D. from William and Mary School of Law, her BBA from Virginia Commonwealth, and a BA in English, with distinction, from Virginia.
