Littler Achieves Top Vault Rankings for 2010

Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the nation's largest employment and labor law firm representing management, is proud to announce that it has received top rankings in six categories of the 2010 Vault Guide to the Top 100 Law Firms, a comprehensive guide to the most esteemed law firms in the country.

Littler received #1 rankings in two of Vault’s prestige categories - “Best in Labor & Employment” and “Best in Labor & Employment Disputes.” To arrive at these rankings, Vault surveyed 16,000 associates at 160 of the country’s top law firms and asked them to rank their peer law firms in terms of how prestigious it would be to work for them.

Littler also received high marks in each of Vault’s four diversity categories, ranking in the top ten in both “Best in Diversity – Women” and “Best in Overall Diversity.” For “Best in Diversity – Minorities” and “Best in Diversity – GLBT,” Littler ranked #11 and #17, respectively. Unlike the prestige categories where associates were asked to rank firms other than their own, Vault asked associates to evaluate their own firms on their commitment to diversity for these categories.

“I’m extremely proud that Littler has received such high rankings in these particular areas because it represents recognition by our peers as well as our own attorneys,” said Marko Mrkonich, president and managing director of the Firm. “These rankings are a testament to both the quality of work that Littler delivers to its clients and the culture we have created where diversity is deeply rooted and valued,” he added.
