One week before the election, this talk radio show invites Barry Green to discuss freedom of speech at work. "In the workplace, the employer has rights to restrict expression" says Green. As campaigns heat up so do tempers. "We don't want you to wear political buttons or engage in political discussion over e-mail or other correspondence," he adds. Green also notes that "Employers would have to be careful not to restrict political discussions during breaks because of labor code sections that could land them in hot water."
