Michael Brewer Comments on How RICO Warnings Can Affect Employers
"RICO warning: Firms could be sued over illegal workers," East Bay Business Times
In this articel Michael Brewer discusses the case currently under review by the U.S. Supreme Court that was filed by several former and current employees of Mohawk Industries, Inc. which may hold the employer liable for RICO violations. "Everybody is waiting on how the U.S. Supreme Court will rule on the issue. If the court says employers can be held liable for RICO violations, then we will see a new wave of employment class actions," said Michael Brewer.
