Timothy W. Roehrs’s entire legal career has been focused solely in the practice of labor and employment law. He represents and defends employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and other labor and employment matters. His litigation experience includes litigating wage and hour class and collective actions, employment contract claims, discrimination and retaliation claims, and other statutory or common law employment claims arising under state and federal law in both state and federal court. He also has experience representing employers before state and federal administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Nevada Equal Rights Commission.
Tim’s practice has included providing employers with advice and counsel on labor and employment matters, conducting and supervising investigations into internal complaints of discrimination, harassment or misconduct, work on traditional labor law matters, drafting employment agreements, conducting employment law training, conducting wage and hour exemption audits, and reviewing and revising employment policies and employee handbooks.
Prior to joining Littler, Tim practiced labor and employment law in Las Vegas and Seattle, Washington. During law school, he was a member of the Nevada Law Journal. Previously, Tim spent four years working for the government relations department at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas.
