Tiffany Cruz advises and represents employers on all matters of employment and labor law focusing on complex commercial disputes, class actions, corporate investigations, and employment law litigation before California state and federal agencies and state and federal courts. Additionally, Tiffany manages California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal/OSHA) matters by assisting employers in pre-injury/incident preventative practices.
Tiffany has represented pro bono clients before the Social Security Administration regarding disability benefits and provided legal services to homeless veterans during the day-long event, San Diego Stand Down. In addition, she regularly volunteered at the domestic violence clinic operated by San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, where she has managed volunteer attorneys and student interns on several occasions. She is a past member of the Board of Directors for Kids on Broadway.
Tiffany previously worked as a Discovery FlexTime Attorney as a member of Littler’s CaseSmart team, where she partnered with Littler attorneys nationwide to formulate and execute discovery strategies for employment litigation cases. Prior to joining Littler, Tiffany was an associate in the litigation department of another international law firm. After law school, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Carol E. Jackson and Hon. Jean C. Hamilton of the U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri in St. Louis.
In law school, Tiffany served as a staff editor for the Washington University Law Review, a judicial extern to the Hon. David C. Mason of the Circuit Court of St. Louis City, and a volunteer for Lydia’s House, which provides transitional housing for women and children of domestic violence. Before law school, Tiffany worked as an engineer, second-shift supervisor and buyer at Caterpillar, Inc.
