Rachelle E. Hill regularly counsels employers on federal and state wage and hour laws, worker misclassification issues, and a variety of federal employment laws, including:

  • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
  • Family and Medical Act Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 
  • National Labor Relations Act (NLRA)

Rachelle advises clients on issues involving personnel policies, employee handbooks and disciplining and firing employees. She regularly prepares personnel policies and handbooks, severance agreements, employment agreements and non-competition agreements for employers. She has experience responding to EEOC charges and defending claims of sexual harassment, discrimination and constructive discharge.

Rachelle is an experienced litigator throughout Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, both in state and federal courts. She also represents clients in alternative dispute resolution forums, including mediations through county, federal and private forums.
