  • The Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
  • Fair Housing Act
  • Washington State Law Against Discrimination
  • Washington Fair Housing Law
  • The Age Discrimination in Employment Act
  • The Older Workers Benefit Protection Act

Pam regularly defends employers in employment-related litigation and governmental proceedings, including claims of:

  • Hostile work environment
  • Discrimination
  • Wage and hour issues
  • Disability and failure to accommodate issues
  • Retaliation
  • Wrongful discharge
  • Trade secret and unfair competition claims

Some of Pam’s notable successes include:

  • Obtaining a defense verdict following arbitration on discrimination and wage and hour claims
  • Obtaining summary judgment for a major national insurance company against claims of age discrimination, negligent misrepresentation, and fraud
  • Successfully resolving a matter against a national staffing company brought by multiple employees alleging failure to accommodate religious beliefs in a production-line setting
  • Successfully representing several employers in separate actions involving allegations of disability discrimination and failure to accommodate arising out of alleged mental disorders, including bi-polar disorder
  • Representing multiple employers in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Washington Human Rights Commission involving discrimination and retaliation claims by current and former employees resulting in "no-cause" letters from various agencies

In addition to her success at trial, Pam counsels clients in regards to employee handbooks, training, leave requests, accommodation issues, investigations, coaching and discipline, severance negotiations, reductions-in-force, and terminations.

Pam has served as a special deputy prosecutor in the King County Prosecutor's Office. During law school she was an extern in the Antitrust Division of the U. S. Department of Justice.
