Melissa A. Logan advises and represents employers in a broad range of employment matters, including single-plaintiff and class action matters involving discrimination, retaliation, and privacy disputes before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. She also advises clients on day-to-day employment issues involving compliance with various state and federal employment laws, preparing affirmative action plans, and addressing the impact of cannabis legalization on workplace drug testing.
Prior to joining Littler, Melissa was an associate at a global law firm in Chicago where she represented employers in single-plaintiff and class and collective actions and advised multinational corporations on global employment laws and employment issues arising out of cross-border transactions.
While in law school, she served as the editor-in-chief of the Indiana Journal of Law and Social Equality, was an active member of the Black Law Students Association, and worked as a judicial extern for the Hon. Ann Claire Williams of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
