Joseph Q. Ridgeway focuses his practice on representing and counseling management clients on labor and employment matters. Joe understands that litigation is stressful and can be frustrating for many businesses, so he takes the time to listen to his clients in order to understand their goals and needs. Joe knows that the last thing a business needs is a lawsuit, so, regardless of the size of the case, he is a zealous advocate, committed to working to secure the best result possible.

Joe has litigated a variety of employment, commercial, and real estate matters. He discovered his passion for employment litigation while clerking for the Hon. Robert S. Ballou in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia, where he researched and drafted judicial opinions in employment discrimination, restrictive covenants, federal false claims, and FMLA cases. During law school, Joe was executive editor of the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal.
