Jamie L. Panzer is a member of the Littler CaseSmart® team and is based in Pennsylvania. She partners with local Littler litigation teams in formulating and executing a discovery strategy for single plaintiff employment litigation cases. She drafts discovery requests and responses, evaluates the opposing party’s requests and responses, reviews documents, oversees document productions and assists with deposition preparation.
She has experience in civil defense litigation handling matters related to the defense of public and/or private employers in federal and state court, as well as before administrative agencies. This experience includes matters filed pursuant to and state and federal statutes such as:
- Title 42 of the United States Code, section 1983
- Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
- Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA)
- The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Jamie is informed in the practice of traditional labor law, including analysis of collective bargaining agreements for purposes of negotiations or review of a grievance filed, preparation for arbitrations and drafting post hearing briefs. She has provided general advisory services to employers, for example conducting handbook reviews and updates, and aiding with internal investigations.
