Overview

James F. Horton focuses his practice as a labor and employment trial attorney. James is proficient in FLSA violations and building ADA compliance. 

Prior to joining Littler, James was tasked with trying employment discrimination, sexual harassment, and hostile work environment claims as senior counsel in the Labor and Employment Division of the City of New York. Previously, he practiced at a mid-size general litigation firm. James spent the first three years of his legal career serving the City of New York at the New York City Law Department in the Special Federal Litigation Division. While there, he primarily litigated civil rights claims filed against the New York City Police Department and the New York City Department of Correction in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. During this time, he successfully tried three civil trials.
