As a member of the Littler CaseSmart – Charges™ team and based in Vermont, Heather Wright is responsible for handling charges from investigation to conclusion. She works on client-dedicated service teams, concentrating on handling administrative agency charges. She investigates charge allegations, reviews pertinent documents, interviews key witnesses, and provides clients an assessment of the risks associated with the charge. In partnership with the client, she defends the charge by drafting persuasive position statements and responses to the agency’s requests for information.
Prior to joining Littler, her practice entailed all aspects of management-side labor and employment law including:
- Client counseling
- Administrative charges
- Unionization efforts
- Collective bargaining agreement negotiations
- Labor disputes
- Decertification hearings
Much of her time as a lawyer was spent working with socially-responsible, mission-driven, or triple-bottom-line employers to execute their legal strategy in alignment with their values. Heather frequently presents to employers across the country on a wide range of labor and employment topics.
Heather spent 10 years as a human resources professional prior to becoming a lawyer.
