Overview

Gina K. Smith is a member of the Littler CaseSmart® team and is based in Mississippi. As a research attorney for class, collective, mass and representative actions, she performs multijurisdictional legal research and analyzes issues on a variety of legal topics; writes concise, objective summaries of complex legal issues; and provides recommendations for strategic action by clients faced with employment litigation challenges.

Gina served as the career federal judicial law clerk for Hon. Glen H. Davidson of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi for six years. During her career clerkship, she obtained significant experience in legal research and writing in all types of litigation, particularly employment litigation. She also participated in numerous jury trials of employment actions.

Before law school, Gina was a freelance writer and editor for several news publications.
