Elaine W. Keyser represents employers in the full range of issues related to the employment relationship. She handles Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state agency charges of discrimination and litigates claims arising under:

  • Title VII
  • The Americans with Disabilities Act
  • The Family and Medical Leave Act
  • The Age Discrimination in Employment Act
  • The Fair Labor Standards Act
  • Florida Civil Rights Act
  • Other federal statutes and state laws

She also has worked extensively in the areas of compliance and regulations regarding criminal background checks and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Elaine has significant experience with litigation involving discrimination issues, negligent hiring and retention, and workers' compensation retaliation.

She regularly advises her clients, which include national retailers and professional employer organizations, about FMLA and ADA compliance.

In law school, Elaine was the research and submissions editor for the Texas Journal of Civil Liberties and Civil Rights.
