Derrick Lam represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including matters involving:

Derrick counsels a diverse set of clients, including start-ups and global corporations, to ensure compliance with federal and state labor and employment laws, with an emphasis on wage and hour requirements, including company-wide audits of exempt classifications and other pay practices; employee leave and accommodations for employees with disabilities; hiring, discipline, and termination decisions; and workplace investigations.
