Overview

Cody S. Chapple counsels and represents management clients in labor and employment law matters. 

Prior to joining Littler, Cody practiced employer defense litigation at one of California's leading law firms. He previously worked as a legal writing associate for Baylor University School of Law’s legal writing department where he developed curriculum material as well as reviewed and graded student papers for Baylor’s rigorous Practice Court Program.

During law school, Cody served as a law clerk intern for the Hon. Judge Jeffery C. Manske and later for the Hon. Judge Alan D. Albright at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. He also was a summer associate at a Dallas boutique appellate law firm with a focus on state and federal appellate litigation. Cody interned for the Department of Justice at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas, where he worked closely with Assistant United States Attorneys handling criminal litigation at the trial court level. Cody also participated in and volunteered at several legal clinics assisting attorneys with issues involving U.S. veterans, immigration, and bankruptcy. He was a member of the Baylor Law Review and served as its senior executive editor.

Prior to attending law school, Cody worked as a management consultant for companies in the pharmaceutical industry.
