Overview

Charles H. Cope counsels and represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters arising under both state and federal laws. His practice has focused primarily on restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and employment discrimination claims. Chip has defended employers in actions under:

  • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA)
  • Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Section 1981

Chip has also worked on securing temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions to enforce restrictive covenants.
