Michael Guasco's practice includes representing employers in complex litigation matters in federal and state courts. He counsels clients through all phases of litigation and dispute resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting and defending depositions, handling mediations, negotiating settlements, defending clients in trials, and arguing appeals. Michael regularly handles wage and hour matters, and defends class and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) cases. He also advises employers on general workplace issues and best practices to minimize liability.
He has nearly 15 years of experience advising and representing clients. Prior to joining Littler, Michael was most recently a partner with an Oakland, California firm where he counseled clients on consumer protection compliance, privacy compliance, and regulatory compliance. He was lead attorney on numerous privacy, business litigation, asbestos, products liability, personal injury, wrongful death, labor and employment, intellectual property, CERCLA, and medical malpractice cases. He has represented multiple trucking companies and truck manufacturers in various areas of law. Michael was also lead counsel on numerous class action matters including employment, consumer class actions, and credit recovery practices class actions.
