In the recent election, Missouri voters passed Amendment 3, a Constitutional amendment legalizing the use and possession of recreational marijuana. With this development, Missouri joins many other states that have legalized recreational marijuana for adults 21 and over. Because the new law contains employment protections for certain marijuana users, the impact on employers is expected to be significant.
