In-house counsel and human resources find themselves in the all-too-frequent position of planning and carrying out investigations of employee misconduct. Such conduct may be complaints regarding a toxic personality, violations of company policies, or significant issues of employee ethics or professionalism. This one-hour Q&A panel-program will set up several scenarios common in Asia and discuss how regional in-house counsel and human resource professionals can avoid common mistakes. Participants will come away with the following:

  • Attorney-client privilege considerations
  • In-house counsel's role(s) in investigations
  • Gathering data from laptops, monitoring employee behavior, and chain of custody concerns
  • Mandatory processes before adverse employment actions

Time:
12:00- 2:00 p.m. (Lunch will be provided)

Location:
The American Club

Please note the registration deadline is May 18, 2022. As capacity is limited, registration is on a first come, first served basis.
