The Great Resignation is well underway – with employees resigning from their jobs at an exponential rate. But, why are women leaving at a faster rate than men? During the pandemic, more than 3.5 million women have exited the workforce (a rate twice that of men) and women's participation in the workforce is now the lowest it has been in 30 years. As a result, companies' gender diversity plans have been impacted and amid return-to-work, employers continue to struggle with retaining talent.
