Ariën Koorn represents employers in labor and employment matters. His practice primarily focuses on unfair competition matters and single plaintiff litigation involving claims of wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, and discrimination. Arie has experience in law and motion practice, discovery, and pre-litigation disputes, including records requests, demand letters, and administrative charges.

Arie is a former consular officer for the U.S. State Department. He served six years in Latin America, adjudicating more than 50,000 nonimmigrant visas and hundreds of immigrant visas in Mexico and Ecuador. In addition, he provided routine and emergency consular services to U.S. citizens. In 2020, he assisted in the efforts to locate and repatriate U.S. citizens stranded by the pandemic. He has successfully represented asylum seekers in immigration court, and he has experience in employment-based immigration law. Arie utilizes the knowledge gained from these experiences in advising employers on consular processing issues related to work visas.

In law school, Arie was executive comments editor for the San Diego Law Review.
